Juanita Woodward – bio
Juanita Woodward, Co-Chair has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, and whilst in Singapore since 1991, she has held various regional and global roles at Citi, ABN Amro and Standard Chartered Bank. Juanita hails from the US, is a Singapore Permanent Resident, and now serves as the Executive Director, Asia Pacific for Eurogiro A/S Singapore branch – a global payments network with headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is also a member of the World Bank’s Public and Private sector advisory group on migrant worker Remittances. In 2009, the American Women’s Association in Singapore presented Juanita with the International Woman of the Year award to acknowledge her work as the Founding President of the PrimeTime Business and Professional Women’s Association in Singapore in 1997, and a tireless contributor to professional women’s initiatives in Singapore.
Her professional career in financial services has focused on business development, marketing strategy and communications in the Corporate Transaction Banking and Consumer Payments areas.
Juanita is the Founding President (1997) and Immediate Past President of PrimeTime Business and Professional Women’s Association in Singapore. PrimeTime is a member of the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations, and has evolved to be the largest international professional women’s association in Singapore with a membership represented by over 35 nationalities. From 2007 -2010 she served as the TIAW (The International Alliance for Women) Regional Director, Asia Pacific, and in 2004, Juanita was invited by MCYS to participate in the Advisory Workgroup on IT and financial literacy, supporting the advancement of women in Singapore.
Juanita holds a BBA in Finance from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
